We ate dinner here for the first time in several years. The food is a step down from earlier regular stops. The Teriyaki Chicken was bland, definitely low on Teriyaki flavor. The Boiled Shrimp were way overcooked, causing them to be hard to peel. The sushi and most everything on both bars was fresh. My biggest complaint with their current pricing is the cost of drinks is included for "free" in the $20 dinner cost. I drink water with my meals, and it's not cool to have to pay for a drink not consumed. Those "free" drinks should be optional, not mandatory. Lower the buffet price a couple of dollars for people like me and serve drinks to your patrons that want to purchase them. Like you used to do years ago.
Great buffet on a Sunday afternoon, everything is cooked well , taste good and is hot - the waitress we had kept our table clean & tea glass full , remember even though youre at a buffet the waitress deserves a good tip ! Yes I always tip more than 15% especially when they keep the tea glass full!
This was hands down the best buffet that I have visited. The food was fresh, hot, and seasoned to perfection. The Frog legs and Crawfish, were the best that I have ever eaten, and I've had them in over 100 restaurants The buffet might not have been as large as other places, but these people in the back of the house do it right here. As a chef, this food was as good as it gets. The parking lot had Handicap spaces right in front of the main entrance. I will definitely return to this location, even if I have too drive two hours to get here. Yes, it's that good.
19DEC2024: I want to get this restaurant to five stars but it doesn't quite meet the mark. It was $35 for me and my 6yo son on a Wednesday night. Food: 4 stars due to good food quality and having a decent variety for a buffet but the price per person doesn't match the quantity of dishes offered. Green beans, frog legs, honey chicken and soft serve were good. The sushi was a bit dry. Service: 5 stars due to most of the food being warm and brought out promptly when a tray was emptied. The servers also kept your drink filled and took plates away quickly. Atmosphere: 4 stars due to the table we were assigned being a tiny booth wedged between two tables. The kind of seating that makes you feel a little claustrophobic because you're so close to the next people. It made my son comment, "look how close we are". If we go back it will have to be for a special occasion.
Overall, the food and service have definitely been better, considering it was not crowded. The establishment was clean, and food stations were stocked (Always Pros). The food quality and taste, in my opinion, has been much better on previous visits, and the customer service has been much better as well. It's definitely worth giving a try if you're in the area.
Tastes good overall; the service is really nice and they have many different foods to choose from. But I would say it’s not the most authentic Asian food but this is the best it gets around here. It’s very close to library too so after lunch there’s also entertainment.
